I’m not sure who producers think the target market would be. It’s not Christians – as the songs appear to be carefully selected, so as not to mention any mangers, angels, or farmyard births.
It’s not hardcore rock fans – very few carols are written for this audience.
It’s not people still in love with Jon Bon Jovi – he didn’t even provide a pouting photograph – just a shot of some department store baubles.
If you must embrace everything Jon Bon Jovi does, or haven’t put much thought into your secret Santa gift, then by all means start downloading, streaming, or purchasing. Otherwise, revisit some old “Very Special Christmas” albums.
